Unified Bank’s Parent Company UBCP Named to American Bankers Top 100 List

United Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: UBCP) President, Chairman, and CEO Scott Everson announced today that United Bancorp, the parent company of Unified Bank, has been named to the American Banker’s “Top 100 Publicly Traded Community Banks” list, according to an article published by American Banker Magazine on June 9, 2024.  American Banker rated United Bancorp 49th on its Top 100 Community Banks list for 2023, based on an average return on equity for the three years as of December 31, 2023.

For the past several years, United Bancorp, Inc. has consistently climbed the American Banker Top 200 Publicly Traded Community Banks list, coming in 84th in the nation last year. This year, American Banker narrowed the field considerably by renaming the list from the Top 200 to the Top 100 in the nation.
