The United Way of Tuscarawas County envisions a world where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability, and healthy lives. Likewise, Unified Bank’s vision is to create better lives and futures for the people and communities they proudly serve. Recently, the two came together to once again jointly endeavor to make their visions come true for the benefit of the residents of Tuscarawas County.
Unified Bank Mortgage and Commercial Lender Stephanie Miller and Personal Banker Jody Clark recently met with United Way President/CEO Robin Waltz to present Unified’s annual gift of $1,500 to the United Way of Tuscarawas County. Though Unified financially supports United Way organizations in all of their regions, according to Unified President, Chairman, and CEO Scott Everson, “It is the efforts of our Unified Team Members that make the difference in our communities through the volunteer services and financial literacy programs they provide,” said Everson. “United Way organizations provide much-needed resources through their outreach programs, and we are pleased to support their efforts,” Everson added.
Stephanie Miller said that she is always proud of the spirit of giving her banking center Teams in Dover, New Philadelphia, and Strasburg show when it is time to participate in United Way projects such as the Annual Day of Caring, Stuff the Bus, or other affiliate projects like the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids fundraiser. “Our Teams also appreciate our Bank’s support of local food banks and angel trees at Christmas time,” said Miller.
United Way President/CEO Robin Waltz said, “Unified Bank truly understands what it means to be committed to helping our neighbors and have backed their commitment with their active support of our community and our United Way.”
