St. Clairsville Parks and Recreation and Unified Bank are teaming up to provide an afternoon of free “Fangtastic” family fun in the form of a community Halloween Party, and you’re invited. Families are invited to bring their children aged 1 to 12. According to Eric Gay, Executive Director of St. C Parks and Recreation, there will be a costume contest, candy, and prizes for the children. Gay said, “We are pleased to announce that thanks to continued sponsorship from Unified Bank, we are able to provide this community Halloween party free of charge.” “So, we hope to see area families and encourage residents to take advantage of all the projects St. C Parks and Recreation has to offer,” Gay added.
The Fangtastic Halloween Party, sponsored by Unified Bank, will be held Saturday, October 29, from 3 pm to 5 pm at the St C. Recreation Department, 102 Fair Avenue St. Clairsville, OH 43950. Tasteful costumes for children are encouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for admission or participation. The St. C Department of Parks and Recreation is a division of the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Having children of my own, I realize how important it is to parents to be able to treat their children to Halloween fun in a safe and supervised environment,” said Unified Bank President, Chairman, and CEO Scott Everson. “At Unified, our vision is to create better lives and futures for the people and communities we proudly serve,” Everson added.
St. Clairsville Mayor Kathryn Thalman said, “We are so very thrilled about our partnership with Unified Bank in helping with events. We want to continue being able to hold this event for the area children at no cost to the families. We look forward to seeing everyone on the day of the event.”
Participants are asked to register at stcrecdept.recdesk.com/ or call 740-695-2037. For more information on Fangtastic, contact Eric Gay, St. C Recreation at egay@stclairsville.com.
