Armstrong Visits Unified Bank

US Olympic Gold Medalist, 11-time All American, and World Record Holder Hunter Armstrong stopped by Unified Bank’s St. Clairsville offices Thursday to visit Team Unified. Armstrong represents Unified Bank as a spokesperson and endorser. According to Unified Marketing & Community Development Executive Don Feenerty, Armstrong has represented Unified through marketing and social media efforts since November 2021. “Hunter has been great to work with, and in so many positive ways, he represents the values and mission of Unified Bank,” said Feenerty.

While visiting Unified’s Eastern Region, Armstrong took a tour of several public youth athletic facilities Unified Bank proudly sponsors. Unified sponsors the St. Clairsville Capstone Soccer Complex, St. C Jr. Sports baseball and softball fields, Fodor Field in Martins Ferry, and the Pumphouse Field in Warren Township. “I’m proud to represent a bank that takes such an active role in supporting youth athletics,” said Armstrong. “I don’t know where I would be without my high school swim team and YMCA having been there for me back home in Dover, Ohio, and I know Unified is helping young athletes reach their goals through continued support,” Armstrong added.

Armstrong, a US Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, has achieved great success in the world swimming arena. He holds five World Medals and is also a world record holder. Armstrong’s 2022 World Championships medals include Gold 4x100m freestyle, Gold 4x100m mixed medley, Silver 50m backstroke, Silver 4x100m medley, and Bronze 100m backstroke. His time in the 50m backstroke at the 2022 US International Team Trials, held in Greensboro, NC, on April 28, 2022, won Armstrong a World record, an Americas record, an American record, and a US Open record.
